Earlier, the Planet Hollywood Resort Casino was called the Aladdin hotel and casino, which was changed in the year of 2000. When the main and original Aladdin was imploded in the year of 1998, this new version was reconstructed completely. As the name suggests, the casino of Aladdin was designed after the stories from Arabian Nights. And the entire look of the casino would bring the visitors back to the magical world of fairytales of Arabian Nights.
However, the new Planet Hollywood, which is a Sheraton hotel, has adopted a different approach as well as it offers‘movie star hospitality’ to its guests. The new casino was inaugurated on April 17 in the year of 2007. Along with the ‘movie star hospitality’, it offers many pleasant and appealing features. The casino has spread across a 100,000-square-foot area, on several floors with more than 2,800 slot machines and 87 table games, and of course, a poker room with 50-seat race and sports book. Moreover, Planet Hollywood offers casino games like Blackjack, Roulette, Slots, Craps, Caribbean Stud Poker, Baccarat, Keno, Wheel of Fortune, Pai Gow, Let It Ride and many more.
The Planet Hollywood also offers great shopping experience with a mall, Miracle Mile Shops, which has over 140 stores and a dozen of restaurants. Inside the mall, there is the V Theater, which provides a wide range of shops. Apart from these, Planet Hollywood also offers the Steve Wyrick Entertainment complex and the Theater for the Performing Arts, which is one of the best concert venues in Las Vegas.
